From a Chinese medicine perspective, the internal organ systems control and regulate the skin. When there is disharmony within the body various types of skin conditions can manifest outward to the skin. Conditions we work with often include acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and dermatitis.

Our consultations address your skin concerns by taking a comprehensive analysis of your current health and history then provide a Chinese medicine diagnosis and personal plan to restore the health of your skin. We assess digestive health, reproductive health, hormones, sleep, and stress levels amongst other systems to determine the underlying cause of your skin condition. A combination of herbal medicine, supplements, external skin preparations, and acupuncture may be prescribed.

We expect results to be seen within 3-6 weeks and more noticeable results after 8-10 weeks. Our aim is to reduce or eliminate the need for pharmaceutical medications such as corticosteroids, Accutane, antibiotics, and heavy barrier creams.
