Frances is a nationally registered acupuncturist and herbalist. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Chinese Medicine and is a member of the Toyohari Association (Japanese Acupuncture).
Frances discovered acupuncture through her own healing journey, which inspired a lasting commitment to supporting others with their long term health and wellbeing. She is know for her warm, compassionate approach and works closely with each patient to proved thoughtful, individualised care aligned with their health goals.
With extensive postgraduate training in women’s health, integrative medicine and fertility care, Frances brings depth, clinical insight and evidence informed practice to her work.
Clinical interests include ovarian aging, PCOS, reproductive immunology, endometriosis, pelvic pain and fertility/IVF support.
Her clinical work is grounded in the ancient wisdom of herbal medicine and acupuncture while supported by modern science, utilising an integrative approach that includes:
- Custom herbal medicine prescriptions
- Nutraceutical formulations and supplements
- Japanese Acupuncture
- Pathology and hormonal testing/interpretation
- Functional diagnostics: including DUTCH testing, DNA Life, Doctors Data and Trudiagnostic.
Frances has also developed a structured 10 week program for women seeking comprehensive management of symptoms associated with endometriosis and other pelvic pain conditions. This program integrates education, evidence informed acupuncture, personalised nutrition planning, and prescribed supplements and/or herbal medicine with a strong focus on fertility and/or pain management goals.
Frances works in regional Victoria from her Ballarat Clinic, as well as Melbourne (Clifton Hill), on Tuesdays.
